LEF-1002DMX

This light engine can be controlled by a mobile APP, LEDSmartLight, which can be downloaded from the Apple App Store or Google Play. The app can also be downloaded by scanning the left QR code.

This mobile APP is developed by Minar Illumination and is different from the existing ones in the market. It features easy operation.

The APP's main functions:
* Static and cycling colors
* Built-in programs
* Customized effects - Colors Jump/Breathe/Flash/Fading
* Audio control
* Dimming
* Color-change speed adjustment

Remarks: 1. The control interface will not show up until the APP has connected to a light engine via Bluetooth. 2. Color customization is for light engines of RGBW models only.

New Housing in May 2025 for new features.

New Features:
1. XLR connectors for DMX512 signal are changed to RJ45 socket.
2. DIP Switches are moved to the back panel.
3. A microphone is added to the back panel.

Functions Cancelled in the New Housing:
The onboard dimmer. The dimming function can be realized by a remote control.

Multiple units of the DMX512 light engines can be connected as a group via DMX signal cables to run the master-slave control mode. In master-slave control mode, there will be one and only one master light engine, and all the rest will be set as slave machines.

The master runs the built-in program with or without the remote control, and all slave machines will automatically follow to have a synchronous or progressive effect.

A DMX light engine always works either as a master or a slave machine.
a. When a DMX light engine works alone, it should always be set up as a master machine.
b. A group of the same DMX models can run the master-slave control mode to have a synchronous effect.
c. By default, all DMX light engines are set as Slaves before shipment,

The matching operation of the RC-28M with the APP light engine differs from that of the regular 28-button remote control, RC-28.

Remarks: RC-28M is available in two models, the RF version and the 2.4G version, which are not interchangeable. It depends on the APP applied to the machine. Please check the details in the User Manual for the APP light engines.

The fiber optic light engine, LEF-1002DMX, is an upgrade model of LEF-502DMX, using more powerful LED modules: one 10W CREE XPL LED module for each port. Together with the lens, the light engine can drive the end glow fiber cable to 12-15 meters long.

By default, a 6-color wheel has been assembled in the light engine.

The wheels/discs that could be equipped into the LEA-501BDMX fiber optic light engine, from left to right and top to bottom:
1. 6-color wheel,
2. Fast-effect twinkle wheel,
3. Slow-effect twinkle wheel,
4. Fast-effect colorful twinkle wheel,
5. Slow-effect colorful twinkle wheel.

Other wheels/discs are available at request, and customized requirements are also welcome.

The structure of the light engine's ferrule, which holds the fiber connector, is different from that of other light engines. Its surface is flat instead of having a slim edge. By default, the aperture of the fiber connector for the low-voltage APP light engine is 18mm. At request, 20mm is available.

For the non-App control low-voltage light engines, their fiber connector aperture is 14mm or 18mm.
