LEA-502

This light engine can be controlled by a mobile APP, LEDSmartLight, which can be downloaded from the Apple App Store or Google Play. The app can also be downloaded by scanning the left QR code.

This mobile APP is developed by Minar Illumination and is different from the existing ones in the market. It features easy operation.

The APP's main functions:
* Static and cycling colors
* Built-in programs
* Customized effects - Colors Jump/Breathe/Flash/Fading
* Audio control
* Dimming
* Color-change speed adjustment
* Twinkle wheel speed adjustment

Remarks: 1. The control interface will not show up until the APP has connected to a light engine via Bluetooth. 2. Color customization is for light engines of RGBW models only.

LEA-502 uses a new 6-button remote control. Two more buttons are added to control the wheel speed.

The 6-button RF remote control has an effective control distance of around 25 meters in an open area. The function of the 6-button remote control (SW9 ON):
1. Turn on/off the light engine,
2. Fix the emitting colour by stopping the wheel,
3. Adjust the wheel speed,
4. Dimming.
5. Pair with the light engine to enable one-to-one or one-to-many control.

New Housing in May 2025 for new features.

New Features:
1. DIP switches are moved to the back panel.
2. DIP switches have been improved to 10 switches.
3. A microphone is added to the back panel.

Functions Cancelled in the New Housing:
The onboard dimmer. The dimming function can be realised by a remote control.

The DIP Switches on the light engines are applied to control the following:
1. SW10: To activate the light engine,
2. SW9: On/off for the remote control and Bluetooth for the APP control function,
3. SW1-5: Built-in programs,
4. SW6-8: Invalid

The current setting of the DIP switches means that the light engine runs Program 1, and the remote control/APP function is ON.

LEA-502 fiber optic light engine uses two 5W CREE XTE LED modules. Together with the lens, the light engine can drive a 10-12 meter-long end glow fiber cable.

By default, a 6-color wheel has been assembled in the light engine. Even though the light engine has two ports, nevertheless, only one wheel has been applied. When it is a 6-color wheel, the two ports will emit different colors.

The wheels/discs that could be equipped into the LEA-502 fiber optic light engine, from left to right and top to bottom:
1. 6-color wheel,
2. Fast-effect twinkle wheel,
3. Slow-effect twinkle wheel,
4. Fast-effect colorful twinkle wheel,
5. Slow-effect colorful twinkle wheel.

Other wheels/discs are available upon request, and customized requirements are also welcome.

The structure of the light engine's ferrule, which holds the fiber connector, is different from that of the old models. Its surface is flat instead of having a slim edge.

LEA-502 differs from other low-voltage light engines. Its fiber connector aperture is 14mm or 18mm.
