LEF-502B

This light engine can be controlled by a mobile APP, LEDSmartLight, which can be downloaded from the Apple App Store or Google Play. The app can also be downloaded by scanning the left QR code.

This mobile APP is developed by Minar Illumination and is different from the existing ones in the market. It features easy operation.

The APP's main functions:
* Static and cycling colors
* Built-in programs
* Customized effects - Colors Jump/Breathe/Flash/Fading
* Audio control
* Dimming
* Color-change speed adjustment

Remarks: 1. The control interface will not show up until the APP has connected to a light engine via Bluetooth. 2. Color customization is for light engines of RGBW models only.

New Housing in 2025 for new features.

New Features:
1. DIP switches are moved to the back panel.
2. DIP switches have been improved to 10 switches.
3. A microphone is added to the back panel.

Functions Cancelled in the New Housing:
The onboard dimmer. The dimming function can be realised by a remote control.

The DIP Switches on the light engines are applied to control the following:
1. SW10: To activate the light engine,
2. SW9: On/off for the remote control and Bluetooth for the APP control function,
3. SW1-5: Built-in programs,
4. SW6-8: Invalid

The current setting of the DIP switches means that the light engine runs Program 1, and the remote control/APP function is ON.

The 28-button remote control has four models: RC-28, RC-28TW, RC-28-2.4G, and RC-28ANI. Those four models are not interchangeable. Please refer to the User Manual of the light engines for details.
RC-28: For LET/LES series and the 12V LED light engines with the APP: LEDSmartLight.
RC-28TW: For the tunable white LED light engines.
RC-28-2.4G: For LLE-002, LLE-004 and LLE-005 with the APP: LED LAMP.
RC-28ANI: For animation light engines.

The matching operation of RC-28 with the light engines differs from that of the other 28-button remote control, RC-28-2.4G. Please refer to the User Manual for detailed information.

The fiber optic light engine, LEF-502B, has applied one 5W CREE XTE LED module for each port. Together with the lens, the light engine can drive the end glow fiber cable to 6-10 meters long.

By default, a 6-color wheel has been assembled in the light engine.

The wheels/discs that could be equipped into the LEA-501B fiber optic light engine, from left to right and top to bottom:
1. 6-color wheel,
2. Fast-effect twinkle wheel,
3. Slow-effect twinkle wheel,
4. Fast-effect colorful twinkle wheel,
5. Slow-effect colorful twinkle wheel.

Other wheels/discs are available upon request, and customized requirements are also welcome.

The structure of the light engine's ferrule, which holds the fiber connector, is different from that of other light engines. Its surface is flat instead of having a slim edge. By default, the aperture of the fiber connector for the low-voltage APP light engine is 18mm. At request, 20mm is available. For the non-App control low-voltage light engines, their fiber connector aperture is 14mm or 18mm.
