Remote Control & Master Light Engine
The 12-key remote control, RC-12, only works on the Master light engine.
A DMX512 light engine will always function as a master light engine when operating standalone. In the Master-slave control mode for a group of the same models of DMX light engines, one unit will function as the master, and all the others will operate as slave light engines. Please refer to the User Manual for DMX512 master light engine set-up.
Turn on Remote Control Function
Before using the remote control, RC-12, you need to turn on the remote control function on the light engine.
1. Find the 10-position DIP switches on the light engine.
2. Turn the 10th and 9th switches to the ON position.
RC-12: How to Select a Program
Please follow the steps to select a program on RC-12:
1. Read the User Manual of the light engine and find the number of the built-in programs.
2. Press the button "PRO" on the remote control,
3. Press the digit button to selct the programs. The sum of the digits pressed is the program number you select. Please note that the sum should be no greater than the number of built-in programs.
4. You can also use the arrow buttons on the remote control to scroll.
RC-12: Dimming
Dimming: Press the key "DIM", then press a digit from "0"-"6". Or you can press the arrow buttons after DIM to scroll.
Battery
One piece of the battery is needed to operate the remote control.
Battery model: 23A 12V
The battery is not included in the remote control for all shipments from Minar Illumination.
